The actor has always been down to earth despite his stardom. Now actor-director Tigmanshu Dhulia has narrated an anecdote related to Shahrukh Khan.
Shahrukh Khan used to sleep on the floor of the bus
Tigmanshu Dhulia has worked with Shah Rukh Khan in films like Dil and Zero. Dhulia recently spoke about King Khan during an interview with Mashable India and shared an anecdote from the shooting of Dil Se. Recalling the time spent on the sets of ‘Dil Se’, Dhulia said that while shooting in Ladakh, there was no vanity van so Shah Rukh used to sleep on the floor of the bus during lunch breaks.
Tigmanshu said, “He is a very humble person. I can’t even tell you. I could see that even during Dil Se and he was already a big star at that time. Even though crew members would walk around the bus while he was resting, Shah Rukh never asked for any special treatment or privacy because of his down to earth nature.
Tigmanshu used to pull chairs for everyone on the set
Dhulia also shared his experience of working with Shah Rukh in his home production Zero. He played the actor’s father in the film. He talked about Shah Rukh’s respectful behavior on the set. Tigmanshu said, “Shahrukh respected everyone a lot. He would choose chairs for everyone. He would ask everyone if they had lunch. These are his values.”

Talking about the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is currently busy shooting for King. His daughter Suhana Khan and Munjya star Abhay Verma will reportedly also be seen in this film. At the Locarno Film Festival, Shahrukh Khan had also talked about King for the first time and said, “It is an action drama, it is a Hindi film. It will be interesting. I have been wanting to do a film like this for some time, and I have actually wanted to do a film like this for seven, eight years. We felt that Sujoy would be the right choice. Because we wanted it to be very emotionally correct. We are all coming together to make a good, broad, action, emotional film.
